The original instrument [E 980.2.82] is held at the Museum of Music – Philharmonie de Paris.

My model is based on a recorder [SAM 135] preserved at the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna (Austria), whose characteristics correspond to the instruments described by Sylvestro Ganassi in his treatise La Fontegara (1535).

Meantone, equal or valotti (on demand)

Brass ring or wooden mortise, or one-piece recorder.
