A revoicing is an advanced version of sound optimization… suitable only for a radical transformation of the timbre of the recorde, or when sound optimization is not enough to solve the encountered problems.
For deontological reasons, I don’t carry out irreversible modifications on instruments made by current recorder makers.

Your instrument has problems you can feel but cannot identify or you would like to check a second hand instrument that you intend to buy.
A complete test of the instruments’s condition, state of the wood, leaks, cracks, tuning, voicing and speech, with a written report on paper or an electronic document.

Cleaning + oiling
Intense playing or long periods of inactivity can be an ordeal for a recorder. Regular maintenance will ensure a long life for your instruments.
Cleaning the instrument inside and outside, including the windway and the holes. Complete oiling.

Cracks
Whether accidental or not, cracks can usually be repaired. Cracks are more or less serious according to where they are situated. A crack on the head joint is more problematical
than on the other parts because it is subjected to warmth and dampness.
Consult me for larger cracks which need to be consolidated or maintained with a ring.
Small cracks can be glued and/or ligatured.
